The City of Goodyear Community Funding program provides direct monetary grants to non-profits that provide human or social services to benefit Goodyear residents. The services provided should not be duplicated by the city or another service provider. Agencies should be able to track the number of Goodyear residents served.
FY2018-19 COMMUNITY FUNDING APPLICATION PERIOD IS CLOSED.

Community Funding Income/Expense Worksheet
City staff will review the applications for completeness and eligibility. A subcommittee of three council members will review and discuss the applications and make funding recommendations. The subcommittee recommendations will be sent to the full City Council for approval at a regular meeting. Award recipients will receive funding in July. All applicants will be notified regarding the status of their application before the end of June.
There is a limited amount of funding available. The service, program or project should be one that is not replicated by the city or another organization/business in Goodyear. The city cannot fund requests from individuals.
If awarded a Community Funding grant, the deadlines for progress reports are the:
- 3rd Monday in January (for activity occurring between July 1, 2018 - December 31, 2018)
- 3rd Monday in July (for activity occurring between January 1, 2019 - June 30, 2019)
