The Goodyear City Council values citizen comments and input. If you wish to address the City Council during a meeting, please complete and submit this form.
Speaker request forms must be completed in advance of the meeting and given to the City Clerk so that speakers can be called to the podium.
A separate form should be completed for each item you want to address.
Unless the time limit is changed by the City Council, speaker's comments are limited to three (3) minutes.
What to do during the City Council meeting:
When the City Clerk calls your name, please approach the podium, state your name and address for the record, and speak clearly into the microphone so that the City Council can hear your comments.
For comments not related to agenda items, speakers can present their item during the Citizen's comment portion of the Agenda. Speakers wanting to comment on issues not listed on the agenda should be aware that the Arizona Open Meeting Law permits the City Council to discuss only those items listed on the agenda. The City Council may refer such items to the City Manager.
If you intend to submit any written materials to the City Council, please also provide a copy to the City Clerk.
What to do if you are not able to attend the City Council meeting:
If you are unable to attend the City Council meeting and would like to provide public comment on items scheduled to be discussed, please submit the form below. The information will be provided to the City Council and be recorded as public record.
