Aikido Self-Defense Class (13 yrs+)

Aikido is a defensive martial art where the defender uses the attacker’s own energy to avoid and neutralize the attack. It employs joint locks, takedowns, and throws. Suitable for the non-athlete and all ages. Emphasis is on humility, mutual respect, and reconciliation.

Session Dates: February 5-28, March 5-28, April 2-26, May 7-30
Class Dates & Times: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, 7-8:30 p.m.

Class Fee: $40 exact cash, check or money order made payable to instructor, paid at the time of class. Each additional family member $25. Pre-registration is required either online or in person. Pre-registration is required either online or in person at the Recreation Office. Registration fee is $10 for Goodyear Residents or $20 for non-residents. 


Cross Fit Fury Adult Programs

Basics

The Basics program is our entry-level program designed to implement general conditioning, basic strength, and body weight training. Proper movement and mechanics are our focus while increasing your overall conditioning. These 1-hour classes meet three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, in addition to a Free Saturday Class at 9 a.m. Basics members may also attend two additional 1-hour skill intensive classes on Tuesdays and Saturdays. In these classes, we further solidify body-weight movements while introducing a Barbell Strength Program. Once the coaches are confident with your proficiency and safety you will progress to the CrossFit Class.

$135 per month autopay ($140 prepay)

CrossFit Fury Masters (ages 50+)

Our Master’s Program slows down our Basics workouts with a much greater emphasis on balance and regaining any lost abilities or confidence. This is a great place to start for individuals with limitations or those who have no prior history with exercising. Anyone can start their fitness path in our Master’s Program.

Maintaining health and independence is our priority in this program. The original intention for the program was a senior’s fitness class but it has grown to so much more. Classes meet three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

$120 per month autopay ($130 prepay) 
Punch Card: $130/10 sessions 
Daily: $15
