Transportation may require negotiating two to eight steps getting in and out of a vehicle. Individuals unable to manage the above will be required to arrange for assistance (on their own) prior to trip departure.

TRIP POLICIES

  • Transportation used for outings typically requires you to negotiate 2-8 stairs getting in and out of a vehicle. People unable to use stairs independently are responsible to make arrangements for personal assistance.
  • Transportation is subject to change.
  • All trips require a minimum number of registrations.  Please adhere to the deadlines as trips will be canceled if the minimum is not reached.
  • Registration for trips is done on a first-come/first serve basis.  Payment is due at time of registration.
  • Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure times.
  • For events where a ticket has been purchased or space booked from an outside agency (theater, etc) we cannot issue a refund due to cancellation after the registration deadline.
  • Trips/activities canceled by the city will result in a credit to your account or a refund will be mailed to you in approximately 3-4 weeks.
  • No credits will be given for cancellations on casino trips; no credit toward future trips. 

Adult Trip Activity Levels
GREEN - Minimal physical exertion; appropriate for most individuals.  
YELLOW - Moderate physical exertion; somewhat physically demanding.  
RED – Significant physical exertion & is very demanding. 


Blazin M' Ranch, Cottonwood, AZ

Activity Level: GREEN/YELLOW

Travel back in time and enjoy a wide variety of Western sights and activities the way they were enjoyed by early settlers. Play a lively game of horseshoes and try your skills at the shoot-in gallery with a real Colt .45 using wax bullets. Learn to rope a mechanical steer and hop on the vintage tractor pull to view the charming farm critters. The dinner bell rings at 6:30 p.m. where guests are treated to chuck wagon grub in a climate controlled barn served by cowpokes. After supper, sit back and enjoy the harmonic sounds of the famous Blazin' M Cowboys as they play music and tell stories. The menu consists of BBQ chicken and Baby Back Ribs, ranch-style pinto beans, baked potatoes with butter and sour cream, salad, and biscuits. Dessert includes caramel apple crisp with your choice lemonade, ice tea, and coffee. Vegetarian and gluten-free meals are available upon request. Price includes transportation, admission, entertainment, and Chuck Wagon dinner.

Dolly Steamboat Twilight Dinner Cruise, Apache Junction, AZ

All aboard! Cruise the secluded inner waterways of Tortilla Flat for a two and a half hour sightseeing dinner cruise on Canyon Lake. Embark upon a large double-decker paddleboat to see spectacular views of wildlife, Desert Flora, Saguaro, and Prickly Pear Cacti while enjoying a meal that will consist of two main entrees of stuffed pork loin and lemon rosemary grilled chicken served with green chili mac & cheese with seasonal vegetables. Vegan of GF meals available upon request. Price includes transportation, boat cruise meal + tax and gratuity. Alcohol/snack bar is not included. Cameras are permitted.

Enjoy a music-filled weekend and relax under a shaded elm tree in the grass feeling the cool mountain breeze. Arizona Culinary Institute, Scottsdale, AZ

Prepare to delight your taste buds during this tour of Arizona Culinary Institute. Your visit includes a tour of ACI’s kitchens; a talk by staff about the institute’s teaching methods and about properly setting a formal dining table; followed by lunch at du Jour, prepared on-site by ACI students, whom you may see in action. You will be served an appetizer, a dessert and your choice of three entrees (beef, fish or chicken.) Iced tea or coffee included. I hope that you will join us for this wonderful culinary experience.
