Information Technology Services 

The IT department helps to ensure that technology investment decisions are based on sound City business needs and aligned with strategic goals. IT supports other departments in their efforts to optimize business processes through the adoption of technical solutions. IT uses sound project management practices to provide appropriate project oversight and governance to IT projects. IT minimizes IT support costs through hardware and software standardization.

Admin Division

Manages city-wide software license and support agreements and coordinates city-wide technology asset management.

Applications Division

The Applications division provides Business Analysis, Application Development, and Application Support services to all City departments. It works with the departments to conduct business and systems analysis after which it  recommends business process changes where appropriate and provides technology recommendations. Relationships are developed with software vendors to keep all installations on the latest release and jointly supported. When applicable, new applications are designed, developed, and implemented. 

Security & Infrastructure Division

The Security & Infrastructure Division provides technical support to all City departments, maintains all IT hardware, monitors and maintains City network efficiency and operations, and ensures that all City IT processes are secure.
