Goodyear, Ariz. (April 13, 2018) – Spring is in the air but it won’t be long before the summer heat will keep us homebound - so don’t let the last few mild days go to waste! Here are some great FREE ways to enjoy the “cooler” weather:
Spring Concert Series: Saturdays April 14 and 21, 7-9 p.m. at Goodyear Community Park, 3151 N. Litchfield Road. Bring a blanket or chair.
Shred-A-Thon: Saturday, April 21, 7-11 a.m. at Police Operations Building, 11 N. 145th Avenue. Four box limit of paper only per resident (must show proof of residency).
Art Lecture: Tuesday, April 24, 7 p.m. at Total Wine & More, 1416 N. Litchfield Road. This month’s speaker is Tempe Visual Artist Daniel Mayer.
Coffee with a Cop: Wednesday, April 25, 5–6:30 p.m. at Starbucks, 1375 N. Litchfield Road. A way for the local community to interact with police officers in an informal setting.
Movie Night - Coco (Rated PG): Friday, April 27, 7-9 p.m. at Goodyear Ballpark, 1933 S. Ballpark Way. Bring a blanket and enjoy a movie from the outfield lawn. Light snacks and beverages available for purchase. Gates open at 6:30 p.m.
Skatefest: Friday, April 27, 7-9 p.m. at Goodyear Community Park, 3151 N. Litchfield Road.
Farmers Market: Saturdays, 9 a.m. to noon at Goodyear Community Park, 3151 N. Litchfield Road.
